WWE 2015 news: Bill Goldberg open to wrestling return

Bill Goldberg had his brightest moments as a star on the WCW roster and had a short stint wrestling under the WWE brand. Everyone knows that Goldberg is not exactly fond of the WWE but after a recent talk with WWE COO Triple H, all that could change soon.

Goldberg, already 48 years old, isn't ruling out a return to wrestling. At least this seemed to be the tone during an interview with Sports Illustrated which revealed how Goldberg and Triple H sat down and discussed a possible WWE return.

From the way the interview went, Goldberg is open to setting aside the bad blood between him and the WWE to wrestle once more. Despite his age, Goldberg considers it just as a number. He also wants to grant his son's wish, that of which is to see him wrestle.

With a lot of luck and depending on how he and the WWE iron things out, the outlook seems possible. But it will take a lot of detailing which includes satisfying certain conditions and requests.

Goldberg signed on with the WWE way back in 2003. His entry into the WWE fold was simply electric. It seemed that under fair and normal conditions, Goldberg was a guy who could not be beat.

He had feuds with the Rock, Triple H and Brock Lesnar at that time, practically bulldozing his way to the WWE scene which wasn't really surprising.

He holds a 155 match winning streak in the WCW scene so his impact on the WWE was not really surprising. He brought the same kind of energy that WCW benefitted from despite being with the company for just a year or so.

His final match was at Wrestlemania 20 against Brock Lesnar with Stone Cold Steve Austin serving as guest referee. Goldberg won the match and Goldberg focused more commentating and acting from thereon.

At 48 and if they can agree to terms, it will be interesting to see how Goldberg would be able to perform in the WWE.

But with rumors claiming the Goldberg being part of the WWE 2K16 game, there is a possibility that Goldberg could wrestle in real time if all demands and requests are ironed out.
