After months of speculations on whether she would ever be back, AJ Lee has finally returned to the WWE. The former WWE Divas champion returned to the scene when she saved Paige from the clutches of the Bella Twins.
Curiously, there is no love lost between AJ Lee and Paige (as far as the storylines go) but seeing that Paige is in the middle of a feud with the Bella Twins, there could be more to this storyline as it progresses.
Lee had been out for quite some time, resting an injury.
It will be recalled that the last time we saw her, AJ Lee had a score to settle with Nikki Bella. And now it seems that she and Paige have a common score to settle with Nikki.
From the looks of it, AJ Lee could be teaming up with Paige as they go up against Nikki and Brie Bella at Wrestlemania 31. The bad news is that we won't see any title change as far as the Divas segment is concerned.
While out of the scene, Lee had been tied up to a lot of issues. That included questions on whether she would be back since her husband, CM Punk (Phil Brooks) left the WWE for the UFC and that celebrated 'tweet' she made against Stephanie McMahon.
With her re-emergence at WWE RAW, it looks like all is well as far as her relationship with the WWE is concerned.
Seeing that she and Paige are 'friends' for now, it should be interesting to see how this partnership pans out. This isn't the first time that Lee and Paige have teamed up, the last time ending up with Lee getting the raw end when Paige turned on her when Lee was still the WWE Divas Champion.
