The unexpected turn of events on "Wentworth" season 5 episode 6 caused many fans to be scared of the dentist's chair. Juicy Lucy (Sally-Anne Upton) got to literally taste a "bloody" revenge from Ferguson (Pamela Rabe) that was witnessed by the entire Wentworth Detention Center. Is Ferguson the new Top Dog of "Wentworth"?

When Kaz (Tammy Macintosh) gradually lost her authority in "Wentworth" season 5 due to her non-violence stand, Ferguson unpredictably showed other inmates how it is done when she cut off sexual predator Juicy Lucy's tongue. Because of this gruesome act, many inmates began to think that Ferguson is a worthier leader than Kaz.

Speaking of Juicy Lucy, the character is reported to be in a critical condition as she fights for her life, according to Showcase Channel. There is no official announcement from the showrunners of "Wentworth" season 5 if Juicy Lucy will appear in the next episodes.

Meanwhile, as teased in the latest preview released for "Wentworth" season 5 episode 7, Ferguson will hold onto her new position and power as she plots her plan to take out the barriers to such. First, Ferguson will eliminate Vera (Kate Atkinson), whose job is in a critical position, from the Wentworth scene.

The trailer also shows Vera putting her confidence in Franky (Nicole da Silva) as the only one who could stop Ferguson. However, one dilemma appears as inmates gave their patronage to the Freak up again. Will Franky be able to stop Ferguson? How will she respond to Ferguson taking advantage of Allie (Kate Jenkinson)?

Meanwhile, producers have yet to comment on the premiere date of "Wentworth" season 6. It has been reported, though, that the series will begin filming on location this month and that it will consist of twelve new episodes scheduled to air sometime in 2018.

"Wentworth" airs every Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. AEST on Foxtel's Showcase channel. Episodes are also made available to watch on-demand on Foxtel Anytime.
