Fans are expecting that more devastating deaths will come their way when the second half of "Vikings" returns in November. Some are speculating that Ivar the Boneless (Alex Hogh Andersen) will become more vicious, even against his own family. Others are saying that something might happen between King Ecbert (Linus Roache) of Wessex and Ragnar Lothbrook (Travis Fimmel) of Scandinavia, and one will not survive for the next installment.

The second half of the season will show more of the effects of Ragnar's return to Kattegat. His sons from Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) are now all grown up, and all but Ivar display hatred to their father because of his absence during their growing years.

GameNGuide reported that Ivar will take his own brother's life, Sigurd Snake-In-The-Eye. Sigurd reportedly hates his younger brother, Ivar. The young boy required so much attention from their mother, Aslaug during their younger years, that Bjorn's (Alexander Ludwig) daughter was neglected along the way. Bjorn Ironside is the eldest son of Ragnar from his first wife, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick).

Fans have also seen how brutal Ivar can be. Back when he was still a child, he struck another boy with his axe because of a ball. Now, followers are seeing that incident as the first sign of his violent future.

Yibada added that since Ragnar has still an unfinished business with King Ecbert, the upcoming second half of the season might bear witness for this. A huge battle is highly anticipated when the two kings meet again. It is also speculated that only one king will survive and he is said to be King Ecbert.

This was according to Fimmel's interview with IGN. He said that his character has been wishing for a long time that he should have stayed a farmer. "Everything's changed around him, including him. Changed for the worst," Fimmel said.

Ludwig also gave clues that his character will be the new leader of Kattegat. He said: "When I was told we were going to introduce these new brothers and they're going to be older and it's going to revolve around this new generation and I'll be leading that, it was super exciting to see."

Vikings' season 4 episode 11 will premiere on Nov. 30 on the History Channel.
