'Veep' season 6 episode 3 spoilers: Selina travels to Georgia

A preview of one of the scenes in "Veep" season 6. HBO

Selina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) will travel to Georgia to help monitor the election in the state in episode 3 of "Veep" season 6.

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "Georgia" reveals that Selina will visit the former Soviet republic so she can monitor the first free and democratic election in the state. During her stay, she will meet an old acquaintance, with whom she seems to have a fake friendship.

In the promotional preview of episode 3, Selina's acquaintance Minna (Sally Phillips) greets her with an unusually friendly tone. She tells Selina that she looks "absolutely radiant" and that her stay in the insane asylum has agreed with her. Selina goes with the flow and clarifies that it was a spa, with the same unusually friendly tone.

Selina looks glad to have the chance to spend time in Georgia. However, she seems to have other reasons why she came, which she reveals in the same preview. In the clip, she admits to her staff that this is her "second act." She explains that she "travels around the globe like patient zero."

Still, not everyone will agree with her intent. The teaser also shows a man telling her that he saw Selina's last election. He seems to be declining the help that Selina is offering.

Meanwhile, Jonah (Timothy Simons) and Richard (Sam Richardson) will have an eventful night out in episode 3 of the American political satire television series. In the preview, Jonah talks about a sex-trafficking workshop. However, Kent (Gary Cole) clarifies that it is an anti sex-trafficking workshop, which dismays Jonah. It is uncertain he and Richard will sneak out in order to push through with their plan.

Aside from these, Mike (Matt Walsh) and Gary (Tony Hale) will keep an evidence pertaining to a major blunder. On the other hand, Dan (Reid Scott) tries to assist Amy (Anna Chlumsky) back in the United States.

"Veep" season 6 episode 3 airs on Sunday, April 30, at 10:30 p.m. EDT on HBO.
