"Transformers 5" is in need of individuals to fill roles for both on and off camera. Supporting and extra roles for the upcoming mechanoid-packed installment from the blockbuster movie franchise are up for grabs and crew members are also needed.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to work both in Detroit and London, as these will be the main settings of the upcoming film. Principal photography, which officially begins in June, will be predominantly done in the latter.

For aspiring actors and actresses who think "Transformers 5" could be their big break, a casting info to take note of is that "starring and supporting roles are mainly being cast through talent agents in Los Angeles and London. Actors who are not signed with an agent are still encouraged to submit their resumes." Learn more about the casting calls here.

"Ted" star Mark Wahlberg will be back as brilliant inventor and mechanic Cade Yeager while Peter Cullen will once again provide the voice of Optimus Prime. Other "Transformers 5" cast news remains difficult to get hold of.

Michael Bay is also back in the director's seat although this will be the final "Transformers" movie he is bound to helm. The first four movies in the franchise, each of them commercially successful, were all directed by Bay. The filmmaker has expressed how difficult it is for him to let go.

Not much is known about what "Transformers 5" has in store. Up to now, the plot for the film remains a mystery. It is, however, being said that the focus on the robots will be greater and that the fans will be treated to a journey to the mechanoids' home world.

Akiva Goldsman is listed as the writer for the screenplay while Bay and Steven Spielberg will be executive producers. The film comes out June 23, 2017. Two sequels have been announced, the first one releasing on June 8. 2018 and the other on June 28, 2019.
