"Total War: Warhammer" gamers are definitely going to be busy during this holiday season.

Last week, videogame developer Creative Assembly announced that "Total War: Warhammer" would be getting a new DLC called "Realm of the Wood Elves." Now, Mobile & Apps reports that the studio has released more information about the new expansion's latest Legendary Lord, Durthu. An Elder of Athel Loren who first united the Elves and the forest together, gamers will enjoy playing the once welcoming and gentle spirit of Durthu who in "Realm of the Wood Elves" tries to tear any being that dares enter his sanctuary.

Durthu is a skilled Lord, the Elder of Athel Loren wields the Sword of Daith which can release a massive power wave while in battle, striking enemies and tearing apart their armor. Durthu also has the Rage of Kurnous, the fury of the forest which grants a weapon strength buff throughout the entire faction.

Moreover, he also has the Elder of the Ancients, a powerful move made possible through Durthu's connection with the earth. Another move, The Lore of the Beasts, is a powerful spell that allows gamers to summon and send Manticores straight into battle. He also has Howl of the Forest, a defensive move which sends a buff for melee attacks to Durthu's nearby allies. There is also Violent Delights, a move that adds a massive increase to the strength of the Elder of Athel Loren's weapon.

Aside from Durthu, PC Gamer reports that the expansion for "Total War: Warhammer" also features a faction with the most dynamic and powerful archers in the entire videogame. Equipped with all sorts of magical arrows, the Woodland Elves can bring fire and take with the allies from the Woodlands including the Great Eagles, Forest Dragons, ancient Treemen, and Dryads.

"With a rich suite of lore-inspired campaign and battle mechanics, 'Total War: Warhammer's' first Elven race offers a playstyle unlike any other," videogame publisher SEGA said in a statement.

"Realm of the Wood Elves" will be made available on Dec. 9, 2016.
