It looks like soap drama series "The Young and The Restless" is gearing up for the holiday season with some big surprises for fans of the well-received television soap opera.

According to a report by the International Business Times, it looks like Michael Roark's character, Travis, is going to try and seal the deal with Amelia Heinle's Victoria by surprising her with the big question. However, despite the fanfare of a new engagement, it seems like Travis may have other reasons for wanting to marry Victoria. While his love for the ruthless lady is hard to doubt, spoilers indicate that Victoria may discover Travis' true intentions for the proposal.

At the same time, while Travis and Victoria deal with their engagement, Bryton James' character, Devon, will have to work through issues with an ethical conflict as Sharon (Sharon Case) confronts Chealsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and asks her to confess her feelings for Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Meanwhile, in other "The Young and The Restless" news, the Inquisitr reports that this week, Genoa City will be left speechless after Dylan (Steve Burton) makes a bold decision.

He and Sharon are both feeling upset that Nick will decide to have them cut off from the life of Christian (Jaime and Alister Tobias). Now, Dylan and Sharon will have to band together and fight for custody over the child. Hopefully the two may get to have visitation rights at the very least. However, one big question remains for the couple — will Nikki (Mellody Thomas Scott) be alright with Dylan's decision to take Nick to court to ask for custody over Christian?

Outside their legal issues, Nikki will be busy trying to get her whole family together to celebrate Thanksgiving, though it seems like the woman has no intention of having Sharon over. Spoilers indicate that Dylan has also teasingly considered leaving his wife behind for some time to celebrate with Nikki, but in the end will decide to go the other route instead and spend time with Sharon.
