'The Young and the Restless' spoilers: Custody battles, cheating scandals to be tackled this week

Jill pushes Billy to come clean to Victoria in this week's "The Young and the Restless" CBS

Now that the Thanksgiving merriment is through, it is time for the main game players on "The Young and the Restless" to come back and attend to their respective issues and it seems like there will be no scarcity of it this coming week.

After kind of setting aside personal problems, the holiday festivities had gone like a breeze with some minor tension along the way. But with people dispersing and returning to their own pockets in life, issues that were shoved aside are slowly creeping back in and demanding attention.

For Dylan (Steve Burton) and Nick (Joshua Morrow), the custody battle needs to get settled immediately especially with Christian at the epicenter of the relationship shakeup. Spoilers suggest that Dylan is eagerly fighting for a more lax visitation rights for Christian. And while it is obvious that he loves the toddler genuinely, Nick just cannot be persuaded to give him any kind of impact on his son's life. Sharon (Sharon Case) is supposedly facing the same predicament as Dylan with Nick pushing further in filing a divorce from his technical wife.

Given this whole chaotic custody battle, Sharon enacts her personal plan with the help of an unusual accomplice in Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). She comes right away when Chloe tips her off saying that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) left her with just Christian and Connor. The plan will work for a bit with Sharon getting some quality time with the kid, but it is unfortunately cut short when Chelsea suddenly returns. Receiving the brunt of the scheme is Chloe who gets into a screaming match with Chelsea after the former admits to letting Sharon in.

Elsewhere in the episode, Billy (Jason Thompson) gets the impulse to reveal Travis' (Michael Roark) cheating ways. With a bit of convincing, courtesy of Jill (Jess Walton), he tries to muster up the courage to spill the beans to Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Unfortunately, in the end, he backs out realizing that it is still better if Travis is the one to admit his misdemeanors.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays through Fridays, 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
