'The Real Housewives of New York' news: Season 7 recap 'Double Down on Delusion'

The ladies head to Atlantic City on The Real Housewives of New York Bravotv/ The Real Housewives of New York

This week on 'The Real Housewives of New York', the ladies head to Atlantic City for Ramona Singer's birthday, and Bethenny Frankel gives Sonja Morgan the real deal about how her attitude affects other people.

Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, and Dorinda Medley arrive at Sonja's house, but she isn't letting them in. She has them wait outside—in the rain. Heather is not happy and can't believe how Sonja is treating them. Fortunately, Ramona arrives so all the ladies can wait in the limo. After a while, Sonja goes out and immediately tells Heather off for barging into her house. Heather says she would never treat her friends the same way Sonja did, and they bicker back and forth on the way to Atlantic City.

As they won't stop arguing, Ramona finally yells, "This is my birthday weekend and I've had enough stress in my life!"

They finally arrive in Atlantic City, and the rest of the ladies meet them there. After the ladies fill them in on what happened, Carole Radziwill said, "On a scale of one to 10, how happy am I that I missed that limo ride?"

Bethenny and Sonja talk about how everyone else in the group tries to put each other down, and Sonja says something about how she's "been in PR" her whole life, but Bethenny shuts her down, saying, "You cannot say things like, 'I was in PR my whole life.' It's pretentious and nobody wants to hear it." Sonja gets offended, and Bethenny tries to apologize to her.

Sonja tries to turn the night around by encouraging everyone to have fun at the casino. They go dancing afterwards, and Sonja brings up what Bethenny said earlier.

"If Sonja were a superhero, she'd be a repeater," says Bethenny to the camera. "She needs a big 'R' on her cape."

Later, the ladies appear to be having enough of Sonja as she stumbles around drunk and brags about how she used to party with "John John Kennedy and Madonna."

The next morning, Sonja goes to talk to Bethenny to apologize, but ends up repeating what she said the night before. Bethenny calmly tells her that she's a kind person, but obviously she's dealing with some emotional issues. Sonja tells her that she's been having a hard time since her divorce, so Bethenny suggests that maybe she could talk to a professional and stop drinking so much.

'The Real Housewives of New York' airs on Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
