The Real Housewives of New York City Season 8: The calm after the Jules €“ Bethenny storm

Last Wednesday's episode of RHONY's season 8 gave us one of the most entertaining blowouts of the season. The episode started off with Luann de Lesseps accusing the other women of not being happy for her, considering how in love she was. And when she stormed out of the place, the atmosphere got tenser as things between Bethenny Frankel and Jules Wainstein started to heat up.

The argument between the two sparked off when Jules confronted Bethenny about not responding adequately when the former broke the news of her vagina injury. The feud moved on to broach the subject of Jules' marriage. Jules blamed Bethenny for badmouthing her apparently failing marriage.

Us Weekly reports that this is when Dorinda cut in, referring to rumors that the marriage was falling apart. However, she quickly went on to deny any involvement in these speculations, confessing that the only comment she had let slip had been about Jules' eating disorder. This pushed the latter over the edge, and Jules went into a screaming fit.

Only when Bethenny admitted that she was reminded of her own mother, who had also suffered from a similar problem, did Jules calm down. After a little bit of pacifying, the ladies decided to take a trip to Mohegan Sun, on Ramona Singer's suggestion.

Interestingly, an article on E! News credits Dorinda Medley as the ultimate star of the show. The column goes on to explain that she has been working relentlessly behind the stage, spreading rumors about the other girls, covertly disclosing confidential information, and stirring up things in general.

In other news, the RHONY reunion was recently filmed, and Jules Wainstein made her debut this time. Talking about it, she said, "I enjoyed it 'cause I got to speak. I think I did [well]. I'm satisfied," as Bravo TV recounts.
