The initial release date for the Disney movie "The Incredibles 2" has been changed to June 15, 2018 in Brazil, after earlier reports suggested that the animated superhero movie would come out in 2019. Fans are looking forward to the sequel after many years of waiting, although information about the upcoming film remains scarce.

During the D23 Expo in California in July, fans had the chance to see a footage of Kari McKeen, Jack-Jack's babysitter, being questioned about what happened at the Parr's residence when Jack-Jack was kidnapped by Syndrome. The teaser also revealed Jack-Jack's power. In the first movie, shapeshifting and self-combustion were the only powers Jack-Jack showed. In the footage, however, Kari was having a hard time chasing Jack-Jack as he phased through the walls. Jack-Jack could also levitate, teleport, and shoot laser beams using his eyes.

A member of the superhero family, Jack-Jack is the only one with multiple superpowers. Fans are waiting for more screen time for Jack-Jack.

There has also been a teaser-trailer highlighting the fashion genius of Edna Mode. The trailer featured fashion icons like Heidi Klum, Winnah Agwabi, Windy Aulia, Kendal Jenner, Andre Leon Talley, and more.

Director, writer, and Edna's voice-actor, Brad Bird took the stage and presented the rest of the superhero team. Craig Nelson (Bob Parr/ Mr. Incredible), Holly Hunter (Helen Parr/Elastigirl), Samuel Jackson (Lucius Best/ Frozone), Sarah Vowell (Violet Parr), and Huck Milner (Dashiell Parr/ Dash).

There are no announcements and news saying who will be the villain or villains in the sequel and if there are new heroes to appear. The plot of the film has not been released as well. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bird did not reveal any details about the movie and said, "It's very actively moving, and we're excited about it."

"The Incredibles," which graced theaters in 2004, was a huge success among critics, receiving a 97% rating from Rotten Tomatoes and a perfect 5 out of 5 score from Common Sense Media.
