"The Elder Scrolls" fans have been anticipating the sixth version of the game for quite some time already. Speculations suggest that the game will offer a more balanced leveling system which might debut in 2019.

GamingBolt suggested that the highly speculated game could develop a leveling system that has never been used on any of its games. The publication mentioned that developer Bethesda has created an almost perfect one when it released "The Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim" back in 2011. The more frequent a skill is used, the more it levels up, which has been the basis for many role-playing games. The perks of leveling are for unlockable abilities which also makes the game more enjoyable.

The studio then decided the use a similar system in their next game, "Fallout 4," but they seem to have focused more on the perks of the system. The post-apocalyptic game became easier to play as gamers progress mostly due to the unlockable traits.

"The Elder Scrolls VI" might use the same leveling system like its predecessor, or it might also give focus mostly to the perks it gives. This will then allow players customize their builds, which is believed to be more fun, just like the classic RPG games.

Meanwhile, fans are also speculating the next game of the series will be released by 2019. Fans have high hopes that the game is currently in production, and the studio is not just ready to share the exciting news yet. It will still take a few years to make, and Bethesda is known to keep mum about any upcoming project that are years away.

Back in August, Pete Hines, vice president of Bethesda, cleared a few things up about the game. On a Twitter post, he said: "@PCGamesN thx. fyi, the elder scrolls vi isn't in development. we simply said we would make it eventually. don't want people to be misled."

Todd Howard, game director at Bethesda, also said back in March that they are busy with three projects, and "The Elder Scrolls VI" is not one of them.
