"Tom Clancy's: The Division" has been getting much heat from players due to its technical difficulties, poor end-game design, and less-than-desirable player-versus-player (PvP) feature, and Ubisoft has recently announced a plan for the game to get its own Public Test Server before they release their 1.4 update, which will feature lots of new content.

According to the Parent Herald, this new server is set to be released for the PC version of the game, which serves as a means of getting the game back on track. Through this server, Ubisoft wants to ensure that the title receives as much transparency as possible in order to implement the much-needed changes and fixes for the game.

Unfortunately, it seems that the release of this Public Test Server has been delayed and as such will not be available on Sept. 15. However, it was explained that the postponement of this release was due to some unforeseen circumstances. The development team then had to add more key elements in order to give more depth to Update 1.4's gaming experience.

IGN also notes that the 1.4 update has also been delayed and as such will not be released on Sept. 13. Fans are questioning this decision, especially because the team has opted to delay giving details about the massive update's content and features. However, Hamish Bode — the community developer for "The Division" — states that there will be more solutions for the game once the update is released.

Inquisitr reports that currently, there have been no replacement dates for both the Public Test Server and the 1.4 update, but it does not mean that the postponement will take too long, as it is expected that the developers will give an update sometime within the week or the next.

In any case, update 1.4 for "The Division" will be a game changer, which might make up for all the glitches previously experienced by players.
