Fans of the post-apocalyptic drama "The 100" were thrilled to know about the show's renewal, although they may have to wait a little longer before season 3 airs.

There are no specific details available when it comes to the show's release date, but according to showrunner Jason Rothenberg's previous tweet, the upcoming season has already begun filming back in July and hopefully will premiere either in January, February, or March.

Season 3 is expected feature different twists and turns in the relationships among characters. As previously reported, Rothenberg recently posted on Twitter about the pairing of Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Murphy (Richard Harmon) or "Clurphy."

As expected, a lot of fans were not happy about the said tandem, whatever it could mean. It could signal that Clarke and Murphy could be in a relationship — the idea of which shocked so many fans in a negative way.

Many fans disapprove of the pairing if Rothenberg really meant for them to be together. However, a report from Melty stated that the two are unlikely to be involved in a relationship. The "Clurphy" ship name could mean that the two will meet in season 3.

How Clarke and Murphy will become linked in the upcoming season is one thing fans need to look forward to.

Meanwhile, it was also previously reported that season 3 will feature a love triangle formed by Clarke, Bellamy (Bob Morley), and Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey).

The news was revealed by Carey herself, during an interview with The Wrap in July. The actress went on to explain that it's obvious Bellamy feels something for Clarke and Lexa does too and revealed that having both characters fight over a girl's attention would be "cool to see."

During the final scenes of season 2's finale episode, Clarke and Bellamy were seen together wiping out the Mountain Men with radiation.

Clarke then left to pursue her own journey. Who she'll be meeting along the way and what kind of relationships will be formed will be discovered when season 3 of "The 100" returns.
