Fans of the "Tekken" series are in for a treat as its developer has released a new trailer that gives fans a good idea of what the upcoming game is all about. Additionally, it also introduced the gameplay aspect of the title, which certainly gives people a more concrete perspective of "Tekken 7."
According to Game N Guide, "Tekken 7s" story was hinted at in the new trailer, and some of the characters confirmed for the game like Heihachi and Akuma are shown fighting each other during a cutscene. Additionally, some of the more popular "Tekken" characters such as Nina Williams were shown preparing for battle as well.
With this, it is possible that the game's story mode will exist, and it could feature Kazuya Mishima having a gem-like object that will serve as a catalyst for his Devil Gene to become active. With this object, Kazuya will allegedly have the ability to wreak destruction upon the universe.
Regardless, the trailer does not offer the first look at the "Tekken 7" at all as Bandai Namco has been relentless in promoting the game to the press, according to the Game Rant.
Furthermore, the game was already in arcades for more than a year and a half, but it will be interesting to see how the game's transition from the arcade to the console editions will play out.
Now, with how the "Tekken 7" story is playing out as of the moment, it is not yet clear how it will operate. After all, with fighting games — especially those that have been running for a long time such as "Street Fighter" and "Soul Calibur" — the main plot is negligible because most players focus more on whether or not the game has a solid combat mechanic.
