ABC Family's "Switched at Birth" aired its latest episode last Monday and it was full of drama and emotion, matching the episode title "We Mourn, We Weep, We Love Again."

This episode showed how all characters in the series had a taste of their own emotional and dark moments, such as the ongoing financial issues of Daphne's (Katie Leclerc) birth-parents Kathryn (Lea Thompson) and John (D.W. Moffett), and the fact that Daphne had witnessed a man losing the battle against death after an accident.

Meanwhile, in a report from CarterMatt, it was stated that as the show progresses, the conflict between characters intensifies. They will also become uncomfortable with each other, as is the case in the upcoming episode "Borrowing Your Enemy's Arrows," which is to be aired on Sept. 28.

ABC Family released the official synopsis for an upcoming episode weeks ahead of its premiere and it revealed that Tank (Max Adler) will return following the awkward encounter he had with Bay (Vanessa Marano) during the first half of season 4.

It was seen in the earlier episodes that Tank and Bay attended a party and both of them got drunk and ended up sleeping together.

The morning after, Bay was surprised to learn that something happened the night before and she thought Tank took advantage of the opportunity. However, Tank claimed that Bay allowed for the situation to happen.

While the awkward encounter won't lead to another, it doesn't mean that their meeting will be easy for them.

Meanwhile, the Sept. 28 episode will also feature Daphne's relationship with Mingo (Adam Hagenbuch) since they'll be meeting the parents.

Daphne will introduce Mingo during grill night, which will also surprise John when he learns that Mingo is the son of the man who's responsible for his financial problems.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode entitled "Instead of Damning the Darkness, it's Better to Light a Little Lantern" will air on Sept. 21.

New episodes of "Switched at Birth" season 4 airs every Monday at 8 p.m. EST.
