The two-part premiere of "Star Wars Rebels'" season 4 has been well received by critics and long-time Star Wars fans. People are hoping for a grand finale as season 4 is the final season of the series with 15 episodes lined up.

The premiere episodes titled "Heroes of Mandalore Part 1 & Part 2" focused on Ghost crew member Sabine Wren and her ability to lead her people and rescue her father from a rival clan. The opening combat scene is described as well-executed and exciting by reviews.

Many viewers agree that the first episode was a great start for the season as the Mandalorians and Jedi joined forces to save Sabine's father, Alrich Wren, from the Empire and Saxon Clan.

As pointed out by Den of Geek, the first episode showed a familiar movie element that has been shown in previous Star Wars films, which is an all-out battle between the good guys (Alliance of Jedis and Mandalorians) and the bad guys (The Empire).

The main villain of the season is most likely going to be Grand Admiral Thrawn. He was also the antagonist in season 3 and for the first time in the animated series, there will only be one villain in two seasons. However, there are still a lot of speculations on surprise appearances.

There are several online forums urging the writers and producers to feature a cameo of a character from the "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" movie.

Followers of the show are excited to see what's next for "Star Wars Rebels" season 4 ever since second official trailer was aired in September. The promotional video featured a dialogue between Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus. The former asked, "All the paths are coming together, right?" Kanan replied, "I'm just not sure if we're going to like where they lead."

"Star Wars Rebels" season 4 airs multiple times on Mondays, starting at 9 p.m. EDT on Disney XD. After the ninth episode airs in November, the animated TV series will go on hiatus and will resume airing in 2018.
