Though the "Star Wars" spinoff war film, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," will be premiering in a few weeks, fans are still busy obsessing over the next "Star Wars" saga film installment, "Star Wars: Episode VIII," and the many rumors surrounding the film.

One of these rumors involves the "Star Wars" Stormtrooper turned rebel hero, Finn (John Boyega). According to a report by iTech Post, Finn just might return to the New Order as a spy for the Resistance. Earlier this year, there were leaks claiming that "Star Wars" newbie Kelly Marie Tran would be playing the part of an information broker in "Star Wars Episode 8." Tran's character deals with both members of the Resistance and the First Order, selling intelligence information out to the camp that gives the highest pay. In a bar scene in the film, Tran's character would try to give some information to Finn who ends up getting chased away by a few Stormtroopers. Thankfully, the character of Tran helps Finn find a way to escape. Now, as Finn fulfills more missions for the Resistance, fans wonder whether Finn would eventually evolve into a spy for the rebels.

Another rumor that has been making the rounds across the rumor mill is that of Rey's (Daisy Riddley) extensive training with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). "Star Wars" fans may remember that during the original "Star Wars" films, Luke has trained with Master Yoda for a while before facing the Empire. Now, YouTube user Mike Zeroh predicts that "Star Wars: Episode VIII" would recreate that portion of the original films with Luke and Rey, however this time a bit longer. According to Zeroh, Rey's training would last for two months and would be featured for eight minutes in the film. This is a minute longer when compared to Luke's training with Yoda in "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back."
