Star Wars is a huge franchise that commands the utmost respect, spawning legions of fans across generations and different groups of people. It has created a legacy for itself, and while the legacy continues, fans cannot wait to find out what happens in the upcoming installments.
It appears as though there is no need to wait much longer. Famed theory debunker and YouTube host Mike Zeroh mentioned in one of his videos that he just acquired recent information on what could possibly be Luke Skywalker's first words to Rey after meeting her in Ahch-To.
It can be recalled that at the ending scene of "Star Wars: Episode VII," Rey (Daisy Ridley) has finally found Luke (Mark Hamill), the legendary owner of the lightsaber that she holds. No lines were exchanged at that point, but the leaked dialogue could possibly be the first one in the much-anticipated film.
As per Mike, the line says, "You contain the spark that will rekindle the fire." To avid fans of the Star Wars saga, this is going to be huge, considering that it can mean Luke may have seen a lot of potential in Rey and would then take her under his wing as a Jedi-trainee. As to how long it would actually be, that is up in the air, but the possibility is very exciting, iTech Post reports.
Another speculation is that she could possibly be the one who can rebuild the Jedi line, something that Luke failed to do, International Business Times pointed out. In the previous film, Luke threw himself in exile because he failed in training Kylo Ren, who eventually succumbed to the dark side. It would take a lot for Luke to budge, and perhaps Rey has something special.
Mike did mention in his video that the information is to be taken with a grain of salt as he obtained it from four sources. He said two of them are pretty much trustworthy, while he is still evaluating the other two. Either way, the line sounds very promising and authentic.
If indeed true, the leaked line may be a part of the teaser in the anticipated Q1 teaser for "Star Wars: Episode VIII."
In other related news, the spinoff, "Rogue One," announces tickets will be on sale worldwide. There will also be other exclusives that will be part of the said promo, which is explained in detail on the official website.
