'Star Wars Episode 7' movie plot, cast spoilers: Robert Boulter as Luke Skywalker? Billie Lourd as young Princess Leia

Hearing about a lot of flashbacks in "Star Wars Episode 7" doesn't seem surprising so the next concern could be who would be playing who and as what.

To date only the daughter of Carrie Fisher, Billie Lourd, has been confirmed to be appearing in the film. And ironically, she was chosen by director J.J. Abrams to take on the role of a young Princess Leia per reports coming from the Daily Mail.

So who would be playing the young Luke Skywalker? Rumors have it that the role could go to Robert Boulter who is a dead ringer from original Luke Skywalker Mark Hamill. If so, Boulter and Lourd could be a good combination for younger versions of Leia and Luke. However it remains to be seen if Boulter will be the one to get the role.

On other characters, rumors have it as well that Rose will be played by Lupita Nyong'o. Though she has been confirmed to be appearing in the movie, there is no confirmation yet on whether her role would indeed be the puppet type character Rose.

Other rumors about Nyong'o suggest that she would either be one of Luke's Jedi apprentice and/or a love interest of Finn, a human male Stormtrooper which will be played by John Boyega.

Rumored plot
The movie's opening sequence will reportedly be centered on a light saber which will be discovered by a villager named Naka. The light saber had reportedly fallen from the sky and Naka brings it home and gives it to Vicar.

Vicar would eventually call the Rebel Alliance about the light saber. It eventually ends up with Poe Dameron who would hide it after the Empire tracks it down.

Stormtrooper Finn will be tasked to retrieve the light saber though he ends up being arrested for helping villagers escape. After their arrest, Finn and Poe meet and eventually plan their escape.

Again, these are rumored plots to which even J.J. Abrams has refused to confirm. On whether these are accurate or simply wild guesses remains to be seen.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is set to debut on December 18, 2015.
