'So You Think You Can Dance' news: Who got eliminated? Who performed the best?

Ten years following the premiere of "So You Think You Can Dance," the show has never failed to capture the attention of many viewers.

In fact, the reality show even bagged eight Emmy nominations in the previous week, according to a report from Entertainment Weekly.

The latest episode marked the 10th anniversary of the show and it featured some of its most notable choreographers and dancers, new stage routines, and amazing musical performances.

The latest episode also showed how Moises of Team Stage and Neptune of Team Street were lucky enough to be saved by the Twitter Save.

On the other hand, the judges were kind enough to put Derek and Ariana on the safe side.

This only means that Darion and Lily had to say goodbye to the show.

The latest episode showed a variety of powerful performances, but the definite highlight of the night was the group performances from Team Stage and Team Street, as well as the hip-hop routine delivered by Jim and Jaja.

TV Line had already provided rankings of the routines for that episode and reported that Jim and Jaja's hip-hop performance outdid all the performances.

Next in their line was the contemporary dance from Megz, Virgil, and Alexia.

Derek and Ariana were reportedly the worst performers of the night — but not to the point of elimination.

TV Line had also provided the individual rankings for each dance team member.

Yahoo also reported that the last episode highlighted some firsts in the show's history. For instance, the first salsa trio was featured.

Yorelis, who is more into hip-hop freestyling and has minimum experience with heels, was up to that challenge. Hailee was dancing it off with her usual dazzling self, but Darion was obviously struggling.

So that resulted in the judges not feeling any love for Darion. It was surprising how this guy who used to blow people away with his performance did not maintain the spirit.

The next episode for "So You Think You Can Dance" will be aired on July 27, Monday.

The new episode will showcase the top 18 performances and another elimination round is expected.
