Bethesda will release "Skyrim: Special Edition" on Friday, but mods for the console versions of the game are already starting to come out.

New reports claim that there are at least 65 mods available for the Xbox One version of "Skyrim: Special Edition." On the other hand, the PlayStation 4 edition of the game only has 10 mods available so far.

IGN claims that the big difference in the numbers of created mods for the two platforms proved that Microsoft and Sony have varying rules for fan-created mods. According to the report, Microsoft allowed mods to upload with external assets for Xbox One. However, this access is not allowed in Sony's PlayStation 4 console.

PlayStation Lifestyle revealed that all the mods that will be available for the PlayStation 4 version of the upcoming "Skyrim: Special Edition" will only use 5KB to 788 KB space, even if Sony allowed up to 1GB of space for the game. The website also explained what players could expect from each mod.

One of the available mods for PlayStation 4 is called Point the Way, where road signs are placed in a number of major intersections that are missing signs or doesn't have enough signs to guide the players along the road. Another mod is called the Dovahkiin Keep, which is described as a big castle that can store numerous armor and weapons, as well as more than a hundred mannequins to help players come up with various armor combinations.

There is also a mod called God Gear, which comes with four pieces of armor and weapons with odd enchants. The Hearthfire Building Materials God Chests, on the other hand, could allow players to add chests that contain everything needed to build houses in Heathfire.

More mods are expected to be created as soon as "Skyrim: Special Edition" comes out on Friday, Oct. 28.
