"Sister Wives" season 6 has yet to air a brand new episode this Sunday and it appears that polygamist Kody Brown and her spiritual wife, Christine, will continue on the drama from the previous episode.
The latest episode of "Sister Wives" season 6, entitled "Marriage Counseling Texas Style," aired last Sunday, Sept. 27, and it featured the story of Kody and Christine as they went on a supposedly fun anniversary trip to Texas.
It didn't turn out as fun as expected since the trip became a session for marriage counseling for the couple. Christine has been carrying the thought that Kody seems to be pouring most of his attention to legal wife Robyn, instead of dedicating equal amount of time to all wives.
Once the couple started their therapy, Christine shared that she's sad over the fact that she and Kody are not as intimate as she would want them to be. In addition, there seems to be a communication issue between them.
Their counselor Nancy advised them to work things out by doing certain activities. One activity is for each to stack up some stones to represent their marriage.
Christine built her stone in honor of their romance, but Kody didn't reciprocate since he built a structure that would honor the entire family.
The heartbroken Christine revealed how hurt and frustrated she was when they didn't have the same idea on what to build during the exercise.
Now, for the next episode, it is expected that the drama between the two will continue on.
According to Latin Post, the family will be celebrating the annual pirate festival in Las Vegas. Entitled "Just Trying to Stay Afloat," the episode is expected to show more drama since Christine and Kody will still have that tension and Robyn will eventually get involved.
Despite having been counseled, will Christine and Kody resolve their issues and apply what they've learned from therapy?
There's only one way to find out — episode 7 of "Sister Wives" season 6 episode 7 will air on Sunday, Oct. 4, 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
