Samsung Galaxy S7 is a favorite subject of rumors, shortly after the Korean technology company announced its latest devices this year.

The latest rumor surrounding Galaxy S7 is that it could be a powerful device carrying an Exynos 8890 processor.

Leaked AnTuTu benchmark test results showed that the processor, intended for an SM-G9300 (presumed to be Galaxy S7), scored incredibly high, GSM Arena reported. In the said test, Huawei's Kirin 950 allegedly scored about 65,000, but Exynos chip reached a record score of 103,692.

However, this is just a rumor and should be treated as such. Mobipicker also reported that the tests came from unconfirmed sources and data are unreliable.

Meanwhile, other Galaxy S7 rumors suggest that the device will be available in two variants. One features a standard 5.2-inch display while the other will be a phablet, with a 5.7-inch screen.

The Galaxy S7 is also expected to run on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its standard operating system (OS). There are also reports indicating that the upcoming phone will have its own 3D Touch technology like the one found in Apple devices. It is referred to as ClearForce, iDigitalTimes gathered.

As for the camera, it was earlier reported in ValueWalk that the Galaxy S7 will feature the Britecell technology.
According to the report, this camera technology was first unveiled during the Samsung Electronics 2015 Investors Forum. Britecell's release date has not been announced yet, but rumor has it that it will be part of Galaxy S7.

This fresh technology is said to have improved sensitivity to light to optimize photography in low-light conditions. This should allow users to take less distorted images with less noise.

Britecell technology is expected to be a major breakthrough in photography for smartphones, since photos taken with mobile phones in low-light conditions have been reputed to be of poor quality.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to launch early in 2016, with February as the most probable month.
