A new Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime will be having a 32 GB variant in India.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime was launched last year, but the device comes with only 16 GB of internal storage space. Now, the Korean-based company is doing a follow-up on the device in India with bigger storage.

On Twitter last week, Mahesh Telecom, a smartphone retailer in India, announced that the 32 GB variant of the device will be launched. The new device will come with the model number G610FO. Mahesh Telecom did not specify the exact date of the release, but assured that stocks will come "in the next few days."

The new Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime with 32 GB will cost 16,900 rupees or about $262. It is just 1,000 rupees, or about $16, more expensive than its 16 GB counterpart.

Aside from the increase in storage space, the specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime remain the same. It still comes with a 5.5-inch full high-definition display screen at 1920x1080 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the device is engineered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, along with 3 GB of RAM that can be expanded up to 256 GB through a microSD.

As for its camera, the device comes with 13-megapixel main shooter with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture, while the secondary snapper is at 8 megapixels. Other features of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime include a fingerprint sensor in the home button and a 3300 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime comes with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Last year, Samsung also released a 32 GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, referred to as the Galaxy On Nxt. However, the Galaxy On Nxt device was only sold on the online Indian retailer Flipkart. Meanwhile, the 32 GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime will be sold even at offline stores.
