More leaks of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) come into view in the form of live images. The bunch of photos came out of China-based publication Anzhuo and show off the front and back of the devices with the former colored gold and the latter dipped in black.
It also looks like a fingerprint sensor is embedded on the home buttons of the devices, with the Galaxy A5 reboot apparently getting a taller button to accommodate the feature. The new version of the Galaxy A7 is coated with 2.5D front glass but oddly enough, its little brother isn't.
The Samsung A lineup is known for its premium build despite its midrange specs. The leaked images prove that Samsung is upping its game design-wise as the midrangers will look sleeker, with a flat glass panel on their backs almost up to par with that of the Samsung Galaxy S6.
The South Korean tech firm also changed the position of the outer components of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016). The speaker grille was moved to the bottom panel. The camera on the rear is protruding and next to it is a single-LED flash.
As for the rest of the specs, users can expect decent-performing handsets. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) is said to come in a 5.2-inch display while the Galaxy A7 (2016) will boast 5.5 inches, though both will reportedly boast a Full HD display quality.
The former will power up with a Samsung Exynos 7 processor and 2 GB RAM while the latter is expected to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with the same amount of memory as the Galaxy A5 to boot. Both will offer 16 GB storage, a 12-MP rear-facing shooter and a 4.7-MP front-facing snapper.
Noticeably missing is the Samsung Galaxy A3, which is rumored to get a makeover too, but fans should hear from Samsung soon as these devices are expected to be released before 2016 kicks in.
