The first trailer for the third season of Adult Swim's popular animated series "Rick and Morty" may be released this month, if rumors are to be believed.

iDigital Times spotted a Twitter post wherein a possible concept art for the show's third season has been revealed. It also seems to have hinted that the newest trailer for the animated show will premiere in August. However, the post is now deleted, and the network has yet to drop other details about the series.

But there are speculations claiming that an August release will be impossible, since the production of the animated series for the third season has just began.

Meanwhile, other speculations claim that Rick's granddaughter Summer will have a vital role to fill in the third season of "Rick and Morty." This could mean that the character will have more time to join the duo in next adventures. But it is still uncertain how her participation in Rick and Morty's journeys will affect the duo's relationship, as well as hers and her grandfather.

There are also reports saying that Evil Morty will be featured in the third season of the series. According to rumors, the ruthless character may spread chaos.

But Evil Morty will not be the only nemesis that the duo will have to face in the upcoming season. According to reports, a new character that will be called Gromflamite Prison General will be introduced, and he will be a character that fans of the series will dislike.

At the moment, series creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon are both mum about the possible release date of "Rick and Morty" season 3. The only information that they revealed is that it will come in the latter part of the year.
