"Red Dead Redemption 2" is another highly anticipated game coming from publisher Rockstar Games and recent leaks reveal two maps for the alleged game, namely, Roanoke Valley and Kahuta.

Tech Radar reported that someone from NeoGaf has leaked an image that is said to contain the very latest art direction map. The publication has checked the legitimacy of the said map with their own sources who are familiar with the matter, and the sources confirmed that it is the real deal.

The map shows Kahuta and an area called Roanoke Valley, which is the home to several native American tribes in real life. There are also several landmarks and areas that are noteworthy; like the Old Fort Walls, which seems to be of great importance. Another area of interest is called Larned Sod, a historical place during the Indian wars which took place in the 1850s. It is then speculated that an Indian war story may be injected into the game.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is also rumored to predate the events of the original game. The Great Plains lacks the railroad, and caravan camps can be found everywhere.

There is also an area called New Bordeaux, which is the main city in the recently released "Mafia 3." These game series are distributed by the same company, Take-Two Interactive, which is also Rockstar's parent company.

An island can also be seen on the alleged map. It is still unknown if players will be able to swim in the rumored game.

Meanwhile, gamers are expecting that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is a part of the upcoming projects that Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said in the past, which is expected to be revealed soon. It was also reported a few months back that the company would not release any more games for the current fiscal year which will end in April 2017.

Fans are advised to take this news lightly for the meantime since there is no official word from Rockstar concerning "Red Dead Redemption 2."
