Season 10 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" premiered Monday night, and after almost a year away, the franchise is better than ever as Vicki Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador are joined by newcomer Meghan King Edmonds.

The episode started off with Vicki having dinner with Shannon. Vicki told her friend that she admires how she was able to make her marriage work. Last season, Shannon reconnected with her husband David and appeared to be better than ever. But during the dinner, Shannon told Vicki that just as things were getting better for them, David started an affair. She revealed that they're now going through couples counseling and that she learned about the affair on April Fools Day and it was not a prank.

"I caught him whispering to this person on the phone and I suspected something was wrong," said Shannon. "I was told I was crazy. I saw all the hotel receipts. I asked him one time, 'Are you having an affair?' He said, 'Yes'."

However, Shannon said that divorce is not an option because she loves her family and that she will do whatever it takes to fix their marriage. She also said that their kids learned about the affair.

Meanwhile, Vicki revealed that her longtime boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, is battling Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma and that he has moved in with her.

"It's like a prenup without the nup," Vicki quipped of the situation.

Heather, on the other hand, is busy as she and her husband Terry continue to expand their mansion.

"Sometimes you want something a little grander," said Heather as it was revealed that her home has its own beauty salon and 14 bathrooms, among others.

New housewife Meghan has just moved to Orange County after living most of her life in Missouri. She is the wife of St. Louis baseball star Jim Edmonds, and during her confessional, she said that she promised herself that she wouldn't marry a much older man, a father, or a pro athlete. But she said that she broke all her promises when she met Jim.

"I broke all my rules because Jim Edmonds asked me on a date," she told the camera.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
