Teresa Giudice of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" has tweeted for the second time from behind bars on Thursday, June 25. The reality TV star took time to thank her fans for supporting her as she serves her 15-month prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut.
The Bravo star wrote, "Thank you for your outpouring of support and for standing by me through this most difficult time. Love love love you all!"
According to Us Weekly, her eldest daughter Gia, 14, sent the tweet on her mother's behalf. Last month, the star tweeted for the first time behind bars, thanking everyone who sent her cards, letters, and kind words for her birthday. Gia was also the one who sent out the initial message.
Meanwhile, her husband Joe is reportedly filming a one-hour special for Bravo showing how he's coping being a single dad while Teresa serves the remainder of her prison sentence.
The reality star and cookbook author is currently serving the rest of her prison sentence after she and Joe pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud in March 2014. Upon completion of her 15-month sentence, Joe will start serving his 41-month prison sentence.
The 43-year old stays in touch with Joe and their four daughters via email and regular phone calls, but it was reported earlier this year that she does not have access to her social media accounts. She also gets regular visits from her family during the weekends.
Meanwhile, E! News reported that the "RHONJ" star has also been in touch with "Real Housewives" creator Andy Cohen.
"I can confirm she's now communicating with him via email," Teresa's lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. told the website. "He was added to her approved email list over the weekend and they've exchanged correspondence."
Leonard added that the mother of four is staying positive and is thinking about the future and looking forward to coming home to her family. Teresa will be released for home confinement on Dec. 23 and will complete her sentence in her native New Jersey until February.
