'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' news: Kim Richards leaves rehab for daughter Brooke's wedding

On Saturday, May 23, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kim Richards left her rehab facility to attend her daughter Brooke Brinson's wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

This is the second time that Brooke tied the knot with Thayer Wiederhorn, as they first got married in California 10 months ago. It was reported that the couple decided to have the first wedding earlier last year at her aunt Kathy Hilton's Bel Air mansion so that Brooke's father, Monty Brinson, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, could have the chance to walk his daughter down the aisle.

Radar Online reports that Richards was supposed to attend the Cabo wedding with Monty, who was also to be her chaperone to ensure that she stays sober during the event. However, a few days before the wedding, Monty took to Instagram to say that he has not been feeling well and won't be able to make it to his daughter's wedding.

Nevertheless, the reality star was all smiles as she posed for pictures with her daughter, and her nieces Paris and Nicky Hilton, who both served as bridesmaids. Her sister Kyle was also there, and there was no sign of a feud between the two as they gamely posed for pictures on the special day.

Kim, despite being in rehab for a month, looked better than ever as she performed her duties as mother of the bride. She also gave a speech in which she delivered warm words to her son-in-law, according to People.

"For me as a mother, I just want to tell you, there is nothing that feels better in my heart than when I'm not with my daughter, that she's with you," she told Thayer.

Following her April arrest, charges, and an emotional "Dr. Phil" interview with three of her children, Richards voluntarily checked herself into rehab. She is expected to complete the full 90-day program of the facility.
