In the previous episode of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8, viewers saw Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss' husband, Todd Tucker, discuss a serious issue involving money.

In the Jan. 3 episode, titled "Shade for Days," Parks was said to have owed Tucker some money from the pregnancy fitness video they made together from three years ago.

Burruss then took to Instagram to post a lengthy message explaining how her husband had waited patiently for his pay to be given, but nothing came. She mentioned how Parks was able to give Tucker two payments but never the final payment.

Now, Parks has aired her side of the story. The Atlanta housewife released a statement posted on BravoTV's site saying that the issue between her and Tucker "has gotten completely misrepresented and needlessly become the source of harsh feelings."

She continued to explain that the business was between Tucker's TTucker Productions and Nida Fitness, which is a joint ownership between Parks and her incarcerated husband, Apollo Nida.

According to the reality star, the video that she and Tucker worked on was never finished, which is why the final payment was not released, adding that the "project has been in limbo."

What upset Parks was that Tucker was so open about the business matter to everyone, a move which the former considers as a "personal attack and assault" on her character.

Parks also said that she had settled the half of the remaining balance by issuing Tucker a check when she invited him to her office to discuss the matter. Currently, Parks is still waiting to receive the final cut of the video project.

Once she receives the completed video, she will issue the remaining half of the balance. "Everybody knows that the final payment follows the final deliverable," she concluded.

Now that Parks has explained her side of the story, what's next with this issue? Will Parks and Tucker quickly put this problem to rest? Find out when "Real Housewives of Atlanta" returns next Sunday, Jan. 10, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
