"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8 will air this coming fall. The series first launched in 2008 drawing 4 million viewers per episode. With its popularity, it is not surprising that casting rumors spread around quickly.

At the moment, one rumor has been confirmed – Nene Leakes will not be coming back for season 8. While the reason of her departure was controversial, the actress finally said that she left not because of her salary but her scheduling conflicts. Leakes however is not gone for good as she is reportedly considering signing back on "RHOA" for a later season.

But the "RHOA" casting rumors are not only about who is leaving but also who is coming in. Amiyah Scott will possibly join the show as an official cast member for season 8. Scott is a transgender model and a successful beauty guru, making her an ideal addition to the cast of "RHOA." She is also believed to be friends with most of the cast members, making her chances of getting on board very high.

Cast member Kenya Moore has her own casting surprise for the popular TV show. Her rumored new love, Eugene Casciaro, is believed to have joined the cast for the upcoming season.

In an Enstarz post, Casciaro was quoted as saying, "Not my style to be on the show but yes I'm in an episode that filmed already... you just never know how they'll spin things..."

Season 8 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is really heating up with a lot of casting updates. Kim Fields, an '80s hit show star ("The Facts of Life") is believed to be joining the cast as well. Kim's resume is impressive with a number of starring and supporting roles for major networks. If she does join the reality show, her new role will be closely followed by viewers. How her role fits with the other characters in the show will be interesting to watch.
