Fans of "Power" will be delighted to know that the Starz series will be returning for another season.

According to When-Will, "Power" has been officially given the green light for season 3, which is expected to air sometime in summer of 2016.

The show has started its production for the third season back in September with Brooklyn, New York as the location.

According to Latin Post, the production is shooting 10 episodes for season 3. Back in the episode finale for season 2, the show garnered 2.39 million viewers just in August.

As for what can be expected from season 3, not much has been revealed about the show, but according to a report from International Business Times, one thing's for certain is that LaLa Anthony's LaKeisha will be back for the series.

The TV personality took to Twitter early this month to announce that LaKeisha will return in season 3.

In the previous season's finale episode, Anthony's LaKeisha was seen sleeping with Sinqua Walls' Shawn, which destroyed the former's friendship with Tasha (Naturi Naughton), who also happened to date the bodyguard.

But according to LatinPost, the two ladies will reconcile and try to fix things between them after Shawn died at the hands of his own father.

However, it remains to be seen if the two ladies will realize they need to save their relationship or it will be doomed forever.

"Power", produced by Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent, is a hit crime drama that showcases the world of drug industry and the New York club scene.

The story centers on James St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), who's also known as the Ghost, a man who leads two lives: a club owner and a drug dealer.

Starz has yet to announce a specific release date for the series, but since season 1 premiered in June 2014 and season 2 in June 2015, it is speculated that the third season will air sometime in June 2016 as well.
