Nintendo has released a free patch 1.3 for Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire which is now available at the Nintendo eShop. Although the patch is said to be minimal, gamers who have encountered a lot of bugs may want to see if the said patch has properly addressed prior issues.
The said update is optional but Nintendo explains that it may eventually be something needed especially for players who intend to access the game's other online features.
The free patch 1.3 will be the third one to be released though no details aside from 'bug fixes' can be expected from the said patch. But gamers are hoping that most of the existing issues would be addressed with the new patch.
Among the issues that gamers are dealing with right now include preventing players from customizing their Pokemon character and game freezes when a player is set to enter the Hall of Fame.
With regards to the character customization problem, there is little chance that it may be addressed with the latest patch. Apparently only a handful of gamers have been echoing the said problem thus lacking the noise for Nintendo to look at it and include a fix in the latest patch.
The latest update will reportedly carry 271 blocks and is said to be something to help gamers enjoy a smoother gaming experience. With a broad to none information about the new patch, the smooth gaming experience claim may still be debatable.
Unlocking Redeemable Gifts
For players who took part in the Enter the Dragon Type Battle Competition two weeks ago, a free level 10 Amaura Pokemon awaits. The free gift can be redeemed by players from various regions but only for a limited time.
It will be available only to Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire gamers, something which will reportedly have a hidden ability called snow warning. The ability allows Amaura to change weather to a hail storm when he starts battle.
To redeem the gift, concerned users will have to head on over to the Global Link page. A special page will pop out for eligible players which will contain the serial code needed for redeeming the said gift.
All players have to do is key in the serial code via the "Get via Code" function which can be found at the mystery gift tab. Redemption is set only up to May 31 so eligible players are advised to redeem it as soon as they can.
