It can be recalled that the hit augmented reality mobile game was first released back in summer last year. Because of that, many have come to love the idea behind the rumor.

Now, in celebration of the game's upcoming one-year anniversary, it is said that Niantic is set to release a summer-themed event. This time around, though, the Legendary creatures are rumored to be coming. He even pointed out the fact that their engineers are working very hard for new functions to be developed. In related "Pokémon GO" news, BGR reports that Niantic has increased the spawn rates of Pokémon found in rural areas. Players in these locations, compared to those who live in cities, had initially not been so lucky when it comes to capturing Pokémon. Moreover, the studio wants to significantly increase the availability of PokéStops and Gyms around. This is definitely a huge treat for the fans in these areas.
