Fans of the Japanese role-playing title "Persona" will have to wait a few months more for the new installment to be released. "Persona 5" has been delayed again, and it is now scheduled to be launched on April 4, 2017 instead of Feb. 14, 2017.

ATLUS PR manager John Hardin recently announced in a PlayStation blog post that the delay is to ensure everything is done perfectly before the game releases in other parts of the world. Japan got first dibs on the finished product last September, and Hardin described that "Persona 5" has set the gold standard.

To address the disappointment, Hardin mentioned that the game will have dual audio via free downloadable content. This means that players who get the DLC will have Japanese vocal options aside from the English-language version that it is going to be once released.

Hardin also shared the news that ATLUS will be in the upcoming PlayStation Experience 2016 set on Dec. 3 to 4 in Anaheim, California. There will be a playable demo for "Persona 5" as well as a "Persona 5" collector's card to be given away at the event.

In addition, ATLUS is also giving away a free Ryuji Sakamoto PS4 theme available for download on the PlayStation network for the first 24 hours after the Twitch delay announcement. They have also updated the look on the "Take Your Heart" premium edition of the game, boasting aesthetic changes to the soundtrack CD, artbook, and Steel Book of the said package. Aside from those mentioned, the pre-order pack has the collector's box, a school bag, and a 4-inch Morgana plush.

The "Persona" titles are well-known for having a complex storyline with various outcomes depending on what the characters do during the gameplay. To add to the challenge, the player must balance battling with social life, which may have added to the overall appeal of the game.

Once released, "Persona 5" is playable on both PS3 and PS4 platforms.
