Perrie Edwards is happier than ever as she recently opened up about wanting to have kids with her fiancé, Zayn Malik. Speaking with the Sun's Fabulous magazine, the Little Mix member said that she would love to have children with the former One Direction member by the time she's 24.
When asked how old she would want to be when she has her first child, the 21 year old said, "Well, I would say 24 and that's in three years' time for me. It's still quite a while away."
Edwards revealed that her mother was 24 when she had her first child, so for her, that has always been the ideal age to have babies.
The singer also talked about how fans of One Direction have always blamed her for Malik's decision to leave the band while in the middle of their world tour earlier this year. Edwards said that no matter what her fiancé does, she would always support him, and that she would have supported him as well if he decided to stay with the boy band.
Following Malik's split from the band in March, angry fans have instantly dubbed Edwards as the "modern day Yoko Ono," saying that she was the reason why the 21-year old left the group.
In an exclusive interview with OK! Magazine, Edwards said that Malik is his own person and that he makes his own decisions.
"So whatever people think, whether they know the truth or don't it's his decision," she said.
She added that Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne have supported her fiancé in his decision and that if Malik is happy, then she's happy.
As for their wedding, Edwards said that she cannot wait to start planning her wedding and that her friends will also be part of it.
Edwards told OK! that planning will begin "as soon as we have time to make it perfect. These girls [in the band] are going to be in for it when I start planning — I'm going to be a bridezilla!"
