Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) wants to get in touch with her past in the next episode of "Penny Dreadful" season 3.

In the previous episode, one of Dr. Alexander Sweet's (Christian Camargo) assistants reminded Vanessa that she already met his master in "the white room, long ago, where there was no time." But she has no idea what the doctor's assistant was talking about.

To help her remember, Vanessa required the help of her new-age therapist Dr. Seward (Patti LuPone) to use hypnotism so she will have an idea about the things that happened to her while she was at the Banning Clinic. But instead of finding out about her past with Alexander, Vanessa saw that the person that the minion was referring to was the Creature (Rory Kinnear).

This made Vanessa more confused, which is why she will ask Dr. Seward to help her again to visit her past through hypnotism in the next episode called "A Blade of Grass." But will she like what she will see as the doctor brings her back in time?

Meanwhile, the French actress who portrays the role of Eva Green told Dispatch that fans could expect a "darker" season 3. But she revealed that Vanessa will go through a lot of things in the upcoming season.

"Vanessa has lost her faith, but deep down there is a longing. She met Dr. Sweet (a zoologist) in the first episode, and she will fall in love, but it's weird. It's a ''Penny Dreadful'' kind of relationship, what can I say?" the actress said.

Meanwhile, actor Shazad Latif told Entertainment Weekly that his character Dr. Henry Jekyll will have more odd, intense moments with his schoolmate, Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway) in the upcoming episodes of "Penny Dreadful" season 3.

"We start doing a lot of experimenting, strapping more people to chairs," the actor said.

"Penny Dreadful" season 3, episode 4 airs May 22, on Showtime.
