The fourth season of "Orange is the New Black" (OITNB) is expected to feature new love interests and rekindling the fires of past relationships.
One of those relationships that will be featured is that of Officer John Bennett (Matt McGorry) and Daya (Dascha Polanco), according to a report from iDigital Times.
The John and Daya tandem definitely won the hearts of many OITNB fans, but also left them broken when John left Daya even when she's pregnant with their baby.
Now, the inevitable question is — will they reconcile? Hopefully they would, at least that's what actress Polanco wanted, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The news outlet recently had a question and answer session with the 32-year-old actress and when she was asked if she wanted to see the characters reconcile, she said she'd love for that to happen.
However, the actress explained that realistically speaking, it's hard to ignore how John walked out of Daya's life during a critical time in her life.
She added that Daya would now be focusing on how she can raise her child.
As for new loves, it was already reported that Suzanne aka Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba) will also get a new love interest.
Back in season 3, fans saw that there was some intimate connection between Suzanne and Maureen (Emily Althaus), but there was nothing beyond that; although fans are hopeful that the two would end up together.
But when Aduba was asked for details on whether or not her character and Althaus' will finally be together, she only said that she cannot reveal more details, Yibada reported.
Meanwhile, fans would just have to wait around for the announcement on the release date for OITNB season 4.
If the timing of the release date of previous seasons are to be followed, season 4 could arrive sometime in June or July next year.
