While Netflix shies away from talking about what to expect in "Orange Is the New Black" season 4, the cast members of the series never forget their holiday tradition, where they perform and make a Christmas classic their own.

The inmates banded together to recite their own rendition of the classic holiday poem "T'was The Night Before Christmas." Their version is called "T'was a Night in Litchfield" and the lyrics painted a picture of what it would be like having Santa visit the correctional.

Piper and the group's version of the Christmas classic is more than just a treat to fans for the holidays. Media outlets believe it has hints and innuendos pertaining to "Orange Is the New Black" season 4 planted in it.

Each of the cast members uttered two lines each for their own version but it was only Alex, whose life hangs in the balance the last time fans saw her, uttering a single line that says "Who sent you here?"

This is believed to be a hint at the character's fate in the new season. By the end of season 3 of "Orange Is the New Black," Alex fell victim to an assassination as she tried to save Piper.

"T'was a night in Litchfield and all through the prison not a creature was stirring, not even a chicken," the opening sentence of the poem reads. Fans know that this remark pertains to the widely known fact within the series that chicken is only myth in the prison.

As fans will remember, Piper once told her fellow jailbirds that she stumbled upon a chicken. The others dismissed this as nonsense since a chicken basically does not exist in Litchfield. This is just one of the many subtle hints that nod to the things unique to "Orange Is the New Black."

Another memorable line in "T'was a Night in Litchfield" reads: "The inmates were all nestled, all snug in their bunks, some were getting some action. Hey, we ain't monks!"

Netflix has yet to set a release date for "Orange Is the New Black" season 4.
