The "One-Punch Man" finale is right around the corner and fans can barely keep it together. Spoilers and speculations are widespread online, which only intensifies the anticipation for viewers.

The previous episode saw the God-level threat brought to life. Melzalgald, who hails from another planet, descended upon the S-class heroes earlier than expected. Defeating the villain proved to be difficult because of his power to regenerate.

In a moment of quick thinking, Metal Bat realized that Melzalgald could only be taken down by destroying his vital marble.

Meanwhile, Saitama went on board the alien ship and wreaked havoc. The hero won against Geluganshp, another alien villain, after getting attacked. In the end, Saitama came face-to-face with Lord Boros himself.

The preview trailer for episode 12 of the Japanese anime, titled "The Strongest Hero," was recently released and it looks like everything is about to culminate into an epic battle. The promo video is voiced over and taunts the powerful hero on his abilities.

"The next and final episode of One-Punch Man is 'The Strongest Hero,'" the narration points out. "What does it mean to be the 'strongest,' Saitama? You must tell me too."

Reports claim that the finale is going to feature Saitama's monumental fight against Lord Boros. The reports also assume that Genos will play a huge part in this particular episode, as he was not featured in the one previously aired.

"One-Punch Man" is based on a Japanese manga written by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. Shingo Natsume is serving as the show's director, with Tomohiro Suzuki as its writer. The animated series is about a powerful hero by the name of Saitama who can destroy enemies with just a single punch.

The final battle has long been teased, but fans will have to wait until Dec. 20 to witness this epic encounter.
