'One Piece' chapter 865 may see Big Mom finally react to destruction of photo

The great battle between Luffy's alliance and Big Mom's pirates is starting to unfold. The rest will continue in chapter 865 of "One Piece." So far, there have been a series of unexpected events. What could be next for Luffy and his band of pirates?

"One Piece" chapter 865 to show Big Mom's reaction? Facebook/onepieceofficial

According to reports, in "One Piece" chapter 865, Big Mom might react differently as predicted. Anime enthusiasts expected Big Mom to scream after Luffy and Brook destroyed her cake and broke a family heirloom, her precious picture frame, but this did not happen. To note, the plan was to drop Big Mom's photo to make her burst into anger. Brook smashed it and destroyed the photo completely; however, this big bad's reaction was not what they expected.

Big Mom's reaction in chapter 864 was not what Luffy and Brook were hoping for. Perhaps Big Mom's inability to react was from mere shock. She probably could not believe that the treasured photo of her mother was destroyed right in front of her.

On the other hand, other reports suggest that Dogtooth's reaction, his turning pale, is an indication that Big Mom will lose it in the following chapter, most likely a delayed reaction. When Big Mom goes on a rampage, hell breaks loose. In previous chapters, Big Mom almost destroyed a whole city. She would even resort to killing her own child if she gets disappointed. Dogtooth, Big Mom's strongest commander, has the ability to foresee what is coming. He must have predicted the destruction that she would bring not only to their enemies but to their allies as well.

In chapter 864, Bege dropped a very powerful statement to Dogtooth, telling him that it does not matter whether Dogtooth can peek into the future because everyone has the power to change it.

More updates should arrive soon.
