'One Piece' chapter 831 spoilers, release date: Jinbei's life shorted for being allowed to join Strawhat Pirates?

 Shonen Jump

In the current chapter of ongoing manga series "One Piece," it is revealed that Jinbei is already considering joining the Strawhat Pirates. However, Big Mom has a condition before agreeing to it, which may result in the ex-Shichibukai losing something valuable.

According to Yibada, chapter 830 reveals that due to Vice-Captain Aladine marrying into Big Mom's family (Aladine is married to Big Mom's daughter, Charlotte Praline), Jinbei and the Sun Pirates have become an extension of Big Mom's pirate family. This grants them the protection of the Yonkou, and the security is also extended to Fishman Island. However, getting out of Big Mom's family is not easy, and Praline reminded Jinbei that there have been pirates who also wanted to get out of the family, but although Big Mom agreed with them, none of them survived.

However, Jinbei is resolute and proceeded to ask Big Mom to release him. The Yonkou agreed, much to Jinbei's surprise, but on one condition – the ex-Shichibukai must give something in exchange. The Yonkou then presented a roulette, where symbols of body parts were inscribed.

Reportedly, Jinbei will agree, and will lose an arm in exchange. However, there are some who say that there seems to be one option in the roulette that relates to lifespan, and that Jinbei will live a shorter life instead.

Meanwhile, the next chapter is also rumored to shed light on Luffy and the crew reaching Whole Cake Island. Allegedly, the "mysterious stranger" waiting on the shore is none other than Sanji. Luffy will try to persuade Sanji to cancel the wedding and go back with them, though Sanji may refuse at first for reasons unknown. Luffy will then have no choice but to gatecrash the wedding, trying to encourage Sanji to return to the crew, as well as serving as a distraction so that Pedo may successfully steal the Road Poneglyph.
