It's only a week left before "Once Upon A Time" (OUAT) returns with new episodes for season 5. A little bit about the new season has already been revealed and it was given away that Emma will be crossing over to the dark side.

In the season 4 finale, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) was seen to have vanished as she became the dark one and will be given focus in the first half of season 5.

But as the new season returns for the premiere, Hook, Regina, and her family will be out to find the reason why Emma disappeared, as revealed by Inquisitr.

In addition, Spoiler TV also released photos for OUAT premiere episode for season 5 and it showed that Emma was with Rumpelstiltskin, suggesting that the latter will be the new dark one's mentor.

As to why Rumpelstiltskin and Emma got together, producer Edward Kitsis told fans that they have to watch the premiere to learn more about the two.

According to Kitsis, Emma did not travel through time and having Rumple with her will be explained right away in the opening premiere.

The first episode of season 5 will be titled "The Dark Swan." Aside from knowing more about Emma, viewers will also meet King Arthur and his men, as well as princess Merida who will be lending a helping hand to Emma to fulfill her quest.

Meanwhile, an (LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) story will also be featured soon in the ABC fairytale series.

In a report from Entertainment Weekly, Kitsis and Adam Horowitz said last Friday that an LGBT relationship is coming to OUAT.

Since the show has earned a great amount of supporters, the producers wanted to show audiences a story that reflects the world today.

Although the producers did not reveal as to who among the characters will be featured with the theme, speculations suggest that the show could explore more about Mulan (Jamie Chung) and Aurora's (Sarah Bolger) relationship.

"Once Upon a Time" season 5 premiere will be on Thursday, Sept. 27, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
