After a long period of silence, Hello Games — the developer of the controversial title "No Man's Sky" — has revealed the details for their space-exploration game's first major update, which is called the Foundation Update. With this, the developer hopes to win back its shrinking fanbase following the various complaints about the overly hyped game.

According to Game Rant, after months of little to no communication after the exceedingly negative reception to Hello Games' "No Man's Sky," the studio has finally spoken out.

The company's founder Sean Murray has revealed the details concerning its first ever major update through Twitter. He even went so far as to say that if the players lived their lives over the last months, they will know how meaningful the update will be, before posting the link to the patch notes.

The new update will be one of the first of the many free updates that will be released for the players, and it is quite big. The Foundation Update requires at least 2.7 GB of disk space. The update size is almost half as big as the game itself, and it will pack a lot of new content such as new game modes, as well as new gameplay mechanics like camping and farming.

Perhaps the biggest buzz, however, is from its base-building mechanic, since it was first teased when "No Man's Sky" was still in development. Unfortunately, according to Polygon, while the patch notes explicitly states that the base-building mechanic is meant to stimulate the creativity of players, some players have discovered that the bases have their limits.

Gamers have discovered that bases have height and range restrictions, which they found out while trying to make ambitious towers or basements.

However, those who still hope that the game can have infinite possibilities might feel that the restrictions are somewhat of a letdown.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
