For all the folks who want to see how "No Man's Sky" really is, well, mark Oct. 2 on your calendars. Although fans will not be able to actually get a hands-on feel of the game, they will get something better when the game demo is featured on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert."
And who is the lucky individual to take first crack at the game? It's none other than the host himself, Stephen Colbert!
The announcement was made through a press release from CBS, stating that game developer and publisher Hello Games' Sean Murray will be appearing on the said show. It will be on the TV program where the open-world game will be showcased.
Hello Games has not officially announced a release date for "No Man's Sky" yet. With the game turning out to be one of the more anticipated game titles, Murray explains that they have yet to make the launch date due to some factors that are beyond their control.
"We can't announce the date right now, because of things that are not entirely in our control, but honestly for good reasons. It'll be announced as soon as we can," says Murray via Gamezone.
Aside from that scheduled showing, Murray will reportedly also be giving a 90-minute exclusive preview of the said game the following day, Oct. 3, at the World Trade Center in New York. The event is titled "Blast Off," an event hosted by Hello Games, and it will be dedicated to the said space exploration game.
On that day, Murray will have a one-on-one interview, in which details surrounding the development of the game will most likely be discussed. Hopefully, it will also include the launch date or a hint on how soon players may play it.
For those who can make it to the said event, tickets will reportedly be sold at $45 each.
