"Nioh's" game publisher, Sony Interactive, has announced the bonuses that players will receive for their pre-order and digital deluxe edition purchases once the game gets released in February next year. The upcoming action RPG is from Team Ninja.

The PlayStation Blog recently announced that the game would have two editions, standard and digital deluxe. The standard will not have any freebies, but the digital deluxe version will include a weapon's pack that contains five new weapons, a PS4 avatar, and a season pass.

Additionally, fans who are interested in placing their orders now, as well as purchases that will happen in the first two weeks after launch, will bring in freebies as well. These include the Nioh Armor, based on the ancient statues found in many temples across Japan and the Crimson Master Armor, a lighter suit of armor that was inspired by the legendary samurai Yukimura Sanada. A Nioh dynamic PlayStation 4 theme will also be included.

Meanwhile, "Nioh's" game director, Yosuke Hayashi, also mentioned some of the challenges that the team experienced during the development period. Hayashi said, "We created Nioh to be a very challenging game, so we put a lot of thought into the design of its difficulty."

"For example, we had an enemy that throws a quick jab at you and causes immense damage, and it was difficult to avoid and defend against. So now these enemies may still attack you with the same level of damage, but we redesigned the movement of the jab itself so that it gives players a split second to dodge or block," the director also added.

Hayashi also mentioned that a lot of insights were given by the players who participated in the alpha and beta tests that happened earlier. The development team has listened and taken actions to many of these things that were forwarded to them. He then believes that the game is better compared during the testing stage and will surely be enjoyed by many players, as much as they have enjoyed creating it.

"Nioh" will be out in February 2017 for the PlayStation 4.
