Nike Kobe 11 release date news: Kobe Bryant signature shoes coming early December?

Many basketball fans are wary about Kobe Bryant's new signature shoes' release date. Nike has not announced any details yet and the information circulating online are merely based on rumors.

In a report dating back to August from Sole Collector, it was revealed that Kobe 11 will be launched on Jan. 9 next year.

However, Sporting News contradicted the information, stating that basketball fanatics may expect to get Kobe 11 a few weeks after the release of Kyrie 2, the next signature shoes of National Basketball Association (NBA) superstar Kyrie Irving that will be put to the market late this month or early December.

The news outlet also stated that it is not yet clear if the new Kobe signature shoes, which is expected to be another hit in the sneaker world, will be launched during that time or will simply be unveiled. It is uncommon to have a short timetable in between releases, and the last Kobe shoe model had just been released early this year.

Considered as one of the greatest players who ever stepped into the NBA court, Bryant is most likely in his last season as a basketball player. Injuries have already caught up with him and with the Lakers' current situation, fans may see the last of Bryant in the NBA this 2015–2016 NBA season, Bleacher Report stated.

Nevertheless, Bryant has to make sure he lets his presence on the court be felt to influence sneaker sales and make sure it does well in the market when the model comes out.

Nike must also take advantage of Bryant's current health because it would not be a good idea to launch Kobe 11 when Bryant is kept on the sidelines nursing another injury.

Sporting News also reported on the rumors about the famed Tinker Hatfield designing the new Kobe 11. Hatfield, the genius behind most of the Air Jordan's success, however, did not comment about the rumors.
